I see you're getting more use out of your sewing machine than I am. I usually only hem pants with it!

I vote tweed for the skirt. There is this great olive green wool tweed that I was going to suggest, but it has sold out. Argh. I really like the silhouette you are planning; each piece will be versatile, but unique.
